My great grandfather John Fox was born in Birstall in 1841 and my grandmother’s parents Timothy Ineson (1914) and Hannah Marsland (1813) were also born in the area. The family surnames in the first 3 generations are: Fox, Ineson, Armitage, Priestley (Joseph Priestley 1733 – 1804 was a great uncle), Marsland, Hirst, Clayton, Street, Hanson, Cowling, Longbottom, and Lee. I am going to be visiting Yorkshire this July. I am looking for guidance or help finding relatives in these families who live in the area. It would be really nice to meet them and share family information.
