Do you have any more details about Percy?   When and where he was born would be a good place to start.

I think he is 3302 Sgt Percy Shaw 1st Bn Rifle Brigade who later transferred to the Labour Corps in December 1918 with the service number 658809.  He was awarded the 1914 Star, having entered France on 23 August 1914, and the British War and Victory Medals.
His pension records are on Ancestry - they show he joined the army at Sandown IoW in 1894 and was discharged in September 1919.  Lots more.
