Could you supply some details to help with the search please - when & where born, occupation, any wife, children etc likely to be with him?  Also it would be helpful if you could provide the 1901 census ref.
MORGAN: Glamorgan, Durham, Ohio. DAVIS/DAVIES/DAVID: Glamorgan, Ohio.  GIBSON: Leicestershire, Durham, North Yorkshire.  RAIN/RAINE: Cumberland.  TAYLOR: North Yorks. BOURDAS: North Yorks. JEFFREYS: Worcestershire & Northumberland. FORBES: Berwickshire, CHEESMOND: Durham/Northumberland. WINTER: Durham/Northumberland. SNOWBALL: Durham.

Have I noted a thread somewhere enquring about Jump Pit?

If the names on the 1881 census are for some reason scamp1234 not visible,  then this is the household :-

William Bagnall 65 occ Coal Miner b Birmingham
Sarah 63 b Thorpe Hesley
John 25 occ Coal Miner b Jump
George 19 occ Coal Miner b Jump
Residing Jump Pit, Nether Hoyland
Pelly/Pelley/Kingsbury/Challis/Nalder/Rochester/Raydenbow
