John Vernon & Elizabeth Meakin 29 Aug 1850 at Aston

I'm hoping their father was Thomas.

I have found another marriage for a John Vernon which may be mine.  He married an Elizabeth Palmer in 1850 Kings Norton Reg dist.  There is an image on one of the sites, but I don't have a sub for that site at the moment, so would be grateful if someone could take a look for me

John's occupation was boot maker - no father mentioned.

Where do you have him married to Elizabeth

John was born 1824 in Aston Birmingham and in most of the censuses I have found him he is married to Elizabeth.  Looking at some of the children's birth reg MMN is Palmer.  On Ancestry there is a marriage for a John Vernon & Elizabeth Palmer.

1851 has a John Vernon bn Birmingham living Aston occ Bootmaker, wife Elizabeth and mother Mary Vernon

Yes he was living with his widowed mother in 1851.  Father Thomas died in 1849.
