I can't answer your question directly but this may help.

Philip Anderson was the 2nd child of that name born to David Anderson, fisherman, and his 2nd wife Margaret Bird, who were married in 1902 in Glasgow. Generations of these Andersons lived at 56 John Street, Cellardyke, Fife. David and Margaret had an earlier son called Philip in 1903, who died at Ovenstone Fever Hospital, Carnbee, in 1911, aged 8. He had had scarlet fever, which was a killer in those days. The second Philip Anderson was born at 56 John Street on December 30th 1915.

I have a transcript of headstone inscriptions in Anstruther New Cemetery drawn up by a friend some years ago, and I see that the parents of the two Philips, David Anderson and Margaret Bird, are buried there in a plot by the north wall. It says here that their son Philip (that will be the first one) and their daughters Margaret and Helen are buried in Kilrenny churchyard.

I see someone has already answered your other query about David Anderson and Cecilia Gay, having found a grave for Cecilia Anderson in Auchterderran cemetery. That may well be the right one as a Cecilia Gay was born at Auchterderran in 1944.

Sorry, I have no photographs from that cemetery, but if you do a search on this site you may find what you're looking for.

looking for the graves of Phillip Anderson b 30 Dec 1914 Fife d ! July 1999 Fife Scotland and his wife Isabella Lister Anderson nee Grant b 1915 d 1974

ANDERSON PHILIP
84

432/ 494
Dunfermline

ANDERSON ISABELLA LISTER
59
1974
421/ 250
Kirkcaldy

Annie

Added Places of death not same i.e. harder to establish where buried.
I think in the case of Isabella (1st buried) you would need DC to find out whether she died in hospital & if so, what her usual residence was & could be buried elsewhere rather than Kirkcaldy then hopefully Philip is buried with her?
