Looking for information on George Heinen b ? d 01 Jul 1897 Fraserburgh Harbour married to Margaret Buchan b 1858 Fraserburgh married 1878 St Nicholas, Aberdeen
On his marriage he is in Merchant Service his parents were William Heinen & Anna Catherine Schumaker maybe German? They had 6 children that I know of
Seems in the census he was away at sea

I can find Margaret with her parents plus 2 children in 1881 but can't find her in 1891 to check if George is with her

couldn't see them in 1891 either on marriage cert father is a Pensioner and both parents still alive
on death cert father is William Henry Heinen (soldier)

Still with the Buchans in 1891. At Duke Lane, Fraserburgh. George snr not listed. Young Helen seems to be down as Nellie. Not seeing an Ann, but a Katie as eldest child.

Children are Catherine Ann (Katie)B 1879, Margaret b 1880, Helen Lawrence,1884, George b 1887, Christina b 1893, Ludwig Andrew b 1897

FRASERBURGH. This morning George Heinen, 38, native of Germany, but many years resident in Fraserburgh, was killed by the falling of a hand crane at Fraserburgh Harbour Works

per the Edinburgh Evening News, July 1st 1897. Also reported in the Peterhead Sentinel on the 6th. Aberdeen Journal says he left a widow and six children, which fits with finds on this thread.

Aberdeen Press and Journal in November 1897, reports a settlement to Margaret and the children, totalling £350, for George's death.
