Just put in James Rib* and then in Keywords put beer Ipswich.

It's 1877/35/15.

The Pork Butcher occ. is shown after Elizabeth's name but I think it was an extension of James' occupation.

Maureen - if Ribbo is having probs,  it might be best to transcribe them as I did for the 1861.  We used to always do it like that.

Thank you both.

I've now succeeded in obtaining the 1871 & 1881 census. If I could find William in the 1861 it might confirm his parents as James & Elizabeth. The "butcher" trade appears on William's  marriage cert.
