James Bumstead, Battisford (c1803)
« on: Wednesday 15 March 17 22:05 GMT (UK) »
I have located a miller(?)/mill owner(?) from Battisford who was selling parts of a mill in 1803.  The man was James Bumstead and he was in poor health at the time. (Did he die shortly afterwards?).  I've searched the papers but had no luck finding anything else, so any pointers would be a great help.

Ideally other family names, his death date etc.?

Cheers for now,

Windy

PS he may have had a link with a Mr. Fulcher (from Stowmarket), though that may be a red herring.

Hi K,

Hummm. Could be my man.  I'll look into that, see if I can find any link to Lakenheath etc.

Thanks to the tip!
