Hi--
   Yes, I have a copy.
I am in touch with someone who is a descendant of the
other daughter of John Rees and Margaret Evans. He lives
in Pennsylvania. I did not know you could e-mail the
registrars and ask them to check for possible matches.
I have been sending for certificates through GRO--
ended up with a few misses--had to pay, of course.

Thank you very much for your contact details. I will send you an email. Now I have you email address I suggest you modify your reply to remove it, the moderator might anyway, just to prevent possible people possibly spamming you.

With common surnames such as Rees and Evans it is very useful to be able to contact local registrars first to see if they have relevant matches, though unfortunately due to spending cut backs the service is not as efficient as it used to be, but you will eventually get an answer. The contact email for Carmarthen is registrars@carmarthenshire.gov.uk. They will also have more local knowledge. Note, their reference number for a BMD record will not be the same as the GRO one.

I also subscribe to Carmarthenshire fhs http://ukgo7.com/carmarthenshirefhs/ they have a lot of useful information and lots of parish records from before 1837. If interested, you can try them for a month for £3.50 if you register here http://www.ukgo7.com/register2017.html
