Family appears in T Ceiri Griffith # 252 +  # 18. (I'm very distantly related to Alice Evans).

Thank you so much Mar, how did you gain this information? Something I'd like to have a bash at... but unfortunately I only have a basic account with Ancestry.... only just startting to collect me Index Numbers for different records so I can order the records most pertinent to me....

Ah, Question.... Where did Jones come into the family if Edwards parents were John Evans and Mary Owen?

Hi Med, I have a subscription to FindMyPast and many of the parish registers for Wales are digitised. This means you can look at the actual images.
I wondered about the Jones as a surname for Edward, but did see that the other child (Anne 1816) had a second name of Jones.
I don't understand the Welsh patronymic naming system at all, and wonder if this is an example?
Did you also notice that Alice's father was named as Evan Pearce !

Hi

This is my wife's family and I have done a lot of research and have the family tree on Ancestry.com. Edward Jones left Getws Parc late in life and I have been pondering if he made the move or if his son, Daniel Jones, took on Brondanw Uchaf taking his parents with him. There is a further unexpected twist in the family's link to Brondanw Uchaf.
