Looking for any information on this lady born 1852 Aylsham she is on 1881 census as groom wife but can't find marriage until 1889 by which time she had 3 children poss father/ husband Paul Webster from North Walsham.
Her parents were George chamberlin born 1828 and Hannah codlin1831. Anyone with any information?

Hello Vali,

I had a look at the 1881 census - Mary Ann is shown as Housekeeper to Paul Webster, not his wife, though they did marry, as you say.

She is shown as a spinster, aged 38, and it looks as though both her parents were witnesses.

The children were baptised with no father named - here's Frederick John in 1876

Just posted that on the other thread  ;)

All her children are shown as Stepson/dau to Paul Webster on the 1891 census
