Sandra
Thank you so much Sandra I began this search trying to make a connection between Gerald Murphy who was an informant my my great aunts death record in SF (she was Murphy) and I was trying to establish were they related.  I now believe they were as in the link you sent for Annie Headstone I believe it reads Born Kilmichael Co Cork which is where all my maternal ancestors originated back to 1600's maybe further. Johns name isnt on memorial with Annie neither Jeremiah.  I must now search for John Murphy on earlier census before 1910. Again many thanks  :)

1900 census in Pennsylvania st San Francisco I have James Sullivan, wife Elizabeth . Present in house is a Boarder Jeremiah Murphy  age 5 yrs born california. Elizabeths maiden name Horgan.
Between 1900 & 1910 Elizabeths husband James Sullivan has died & she is now married to Con(Corneilus) Murphy.
1910 census they are at Texas st 31st assembly district. SF Jeremiah murphy is still with them & is recorded as a Nephew age 14yrs.
I am trying to establish Jeremiah murphys origins i.e parents (was he orphaned) and what became of him after 1910 census.
Thank you for any information.
Hi Sandra, in order to clarify a connection between my own murphys to above.  Is it possible to source a marriage between Elizabeth (Horgan) Sullivan to Corneilus Murphy. The first child gerald born to Elizabeth & Corneilus was in 1904 - I am thinking maybe between 1900 & 1903
Thanks for any info.  Also parents of Jeremiah b. c 1894 - John Murphy & Annie ? possible marriage. If I got these 2 marriages Corneilus & John Murphy obviously brothers, I might get their fathers name.  I am not familiar with SF genealogy & availability of records :)

Cant find Obituary for Gerald F Murphy b. 1904 San Francisco Parents Jeremiah Murphy & Elizabeth Sullivan Murphy.  He died in 1985 in SF.  In his wifes obit Grace Murphy (Kelley) in 2007 it states that Gerald Murphy was retired Battalion chief @ San Francisco Fire Dept.  Have looked on the Fire Dept website & cannot see him mentioned. Help appreciated
