Incidentally, PrawnCocktail, I should have said the baptism of William son of John and brother of James is 2nd December 1736 at Grappenhall which is confirmed in the Cheshire, England Select Bishop's Transcripts 1576-1933.

So this is slightly at odds with 17th November 1736.
