Archibald Fulton

Hello all
I have managed to get into an awful pickle with my family tree    I am looking for the parents of Archibald Fulton who married Jane Bennett (not to be confused with William Fulton who also married a Jane Bennett).

Archibald possibly married Jane in 1876 in Newtownards, and they had two children - John 30/12/1877 born in Down, and James 22/12/1879 born in Drumfad.  I know that this Jane died on 3 January 1939 and was born about 1855. Her mother was a Margaret Bennett.  I think that Jane also had a child Annie born about 1887.  On the 1901 census Jane, James, Annie and her sister Margaret appear, which would imply that Archibald had died by then.  I do have the transcription of the headstone erected by her brother William Bennett.

Any help finding the parents of Archibald would really be fantastic.

You'll need to check the marriage certificate to see if name and occupation of Archibald Fulton's father is listed. Not yet online free but you can view it after registering and purchasing a few credits from GRONI.

1901 census does list Jane Fulton as widow-

An Archibald Fulton (age 35) died 13 Sept.1886 Belfast district

Still listed as widow in 1911- with form filled out incorrectly (married 34 years, 5 children/4 living)
