William  first marries Caroline Connell daughter of Samuel Connell.11 May 1842 in St George the Martyr, Southwark his father William Corby his occupation 'Accomptant (accountant??) Both parties living in Chapel Street Clerkenwell.
2nd marriage he is a widower, to Charlotte Bird (widow) St Johns Clerkenwell her father Daniel Miles.

3rd Marriage for William to Eliza Allen St Paul Deptford 15 Sept 1850 her father Richard Allen.
Have been chasing my tail looking at census records 1871 told me Eliza Corby now a widow in 225 Kent Street Ive misplaced sources for this record. Really looking for info on his dad William Corby who could have been born c 1790?? Sorry I'm so vague, have lost the sight in right eye and having difficulties with the screens.   Any advice would be most welcome. Cheers

I see that banns were first called for William Corby and Caroline Connell in the parish of St Dunstan, Stepney in August 1840 (both otp), though this did not lead to a marriage at that time.

I think some of these details must have got muddled.

On the 1842 marriage in Southwark, William was 27 (bach), a brush maker of Ripponden St, father William Corby, brush maker.

Caroline was 24 (spinster) of the same abode, father Samuel Connell, tailor.

Then on the 1850 (Deptford) marriage to Eliza, William (full age, wid) is again a brushmaker, father William Corby, clerk.

I see there are no Corby witnesses to any of the marriages.
