The widowed Eliza remarried 25.12.1872 in Liverpool (St Jude's, West Derby) to Wilman William Wattis, an agent (by 1881: collector for burial societies).  She died as Eliza Wattis in Birkenhead in 1913, aged 81.

I couldn't see my reply to the last lot of info so sending this again! Many thanks for all the research you have done that just about sorts William jnr out however the crunch is father William. There doesn't seem to be any clues about him, I've seen other Corby names in various indexes and have checked some London directories, researching William's children probably wouldn't give any info about their grandfather' I have a feeling he was Irish no idea why though.  Any hints on what to do next?
