no they are still living.  My gran is 70 this year and both grandparents are keen too find out about ancestors.  Thanks

hi looking for joseph Vickers 1900 +/- and information about his spouse Teresa lived in the Hamilton scotland

Have you looked for probable births and marriages for him on Scotlandspeople?

Birth Blackfriars, 1905?

Was he definitely born in Scotland and/or married there?  (How did you arrive at him?)

There is a death for a Theresa Vickers age 69 in 1985 in Hamilton - is she too young?

There is a death for a Joseph Vickers age 59 in 1975, Hamilton.

These two deaths would give birth years for both of around 1916, if they are 'your' Joseph and 'your'  Theresa(not Teresa).

As you originally thought he was born around 1900, are you sure this is the correct Joseph Vickers.

As there is no birth showing for him in Scotland, and lots showing in England, you need to go and buy credits for scotlandspeople to get information from the death reported there.

The information that I posted on the deaths is from the free searches.  Scotlandspeople is not a subscription site, but once you have purchased the credits you can view and download the death information.
