Nice find DB.  ;)

Is it possible to look on the census using her 1st name ,yr olf birth and immigration date because if I could do this and it narrowed it down to a few ,I could then look for the persons death and see if any have her dob correct if that makes any sense ?

Looked at a few Alice who could have been possible but nothing materialised. One Alice Neil born 1898 England. Immigrated 1914 and married to William Neil - living in North Battleford Saskatchewan I couldn't find at a later date to prove or disprove her.

Obituary - 19-12-2--1

HARPER _ Verdun (Vernie). Born in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. Died in her home early December 15, 2001 following a very long battle with a progressively painful illness. A loving sister, friend and lifetime companion of Evelyn (now deceased), Vernie spent her life giving to others. Nothing ever stopped her smiles, though the sparkle in her blue eyes was not so bright in the last few weeks. She will be greatly missed by Evelyn. Survived by other sister Joyce Gardner - (Now deceased - See below reply 43)  (Joe) - niece............etc etc

Sandra

Hi,

Found an article in the Baldur Gazette News, Aug 16, 1997.  There is an entire page about the Cramer/Creamer history... and a huge family reunion in 1997.  There is mention of Charles Abraham Creamer..born 1876.  Married Lucy Kates in 1896 and had 10 children.  He settled in Swift Current Saskatchewan, and later moved to Burnaby BC.   It says "some of his descendants have been found".  Daughter L Bleakley and her daughters G and D were at the reunion.   There are lots of names in this article of people who are researching the family history.  Perhaps someone mentioned here can tell you more about the 10 children.

If you have a sub to FindMyPast (or can get it free from your library), you can find the newspaper.
