I found that death as well, having found him on 1861, 71, 81 Censuses but no luck on 91 (unless he left Oxfordshire). Suggest the best way forward is to order the Death certificate online to rule it in or out - £8 for the PDF version from GRO, and apparently they are currently delivering within a few hours. how can george be died in 1858 age 27.  i no there should be 2 georges one a son to thomas and rachel wright born 1858  and a  george  born 1896 to john and charlotte wright so can you tell me what son and to who please.

I can only think you are misreading 1885 as 1858.
