Enoch Sheldon b Oldbury abt 1818

I am trying to find the birth record of Enoch Sheldon b Oldbury, Worcestershire abt 1818. Shown on 1841, 1851 and 1861 census, died 1868. Married Alice Davies in 1836. Unable to locate any information on birth of any Enoch Sheldon around that date. Any suggestions on where I can look?

We aren't ignoring you. We can't find him either!

I notice that Enoch's children had Non Conformist baptisms.

Does anyone know where Graeme may be able to locate NonCon records for Oldbury please?

would Joseph & Mary be Enoch's parents as He was a minor on marriage

1841 census Enoch & Alice are living in West Bromwich Staffordshire -Enoch states yes he is b in county
1851 Enoch gives p,o,b, as ???bury Worcs (could be Oldbury)
1861 Enoch's p.o.b. West Bromwich Staffordshire

I have a baptism of Joseph Sheldon b. 6 Nov 1817 baptism 10 Mar 1818 St Thomas Dudley Worcs parents Joseph and Mary

Maybe same family??

the family I found in 1841/51/61 in West Brom- if this is the correct family then Enoch could not have died 1868 as he is on 1871 census!!

You are right, my mistake. Enoch died on 18th January 1878, not 1868. Aged 62. So dob 1816.

How can you tell that the baptisms for Enoch's children were non conformist?
What is the likelihood that The Genealogist will have the records, I am OK to pay if the chances are greater than 50:50.
