Thanks Rosie 99.Think you have got the jist of this saga.I get the feeling that Charles didn't want  anyone to find him ?None of the family seem to have known anything about him in his early life in Newcastle, hence the problem finding him. On his marriage cert to Eliza Lloyd 27th Feb 1915 at Failsworth(Prestwich 8d 423) he gives his name as Charles Trevor Bell. Where the Trevor came from nobody knows. He gives his fathers name as Charles but no leads with that .If my recent info is correct his father could be George Bell b1858 married to Annie Trotter b 1859 Jarrow and his Grandfather is called Charles Bell b 1836 in Newcastle married to Elizabeth Sutherland b1834.Scotland.Can't seem to find a Gloag connection ,suppose there may be a Bardsley connection back to Newcastle. Will keep going. Thanks for your interest.
