looking for the marriage of GEORGE STORER and ANNIE BALL at St James Barton under Needwood in the 2nd quarter of 1878, need to find Georges father.

The most disgusting writing - Charles Storer, a Signal man.

17 June 1878 - George is full age, bachelor - Porter.  Annie Ball is full age and a spinster.  No father named.  Charles is a witness.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

However would this be George on the 1891 -

George Storer   33 b. Alrewas, Staffordshire
Annie Storer   33
Charles Storer   10
George Storer    8
Annie Storer   7
Edward Storer   5
Alice M Storer   3
Arthur Storer   5/12

RG12 Piece 2204 Folio 21 Page 37, Burton Upon Trent

If the above is correct then this could be George with his parents on the 1861 -

Charles Storer   38 Railway Pointman
Mary Storer   44
Jane Storer   13
Hannah Storer   7
George Storer   3 b. Alrewas, Staffordshire
Charles Storer   9/12

thanks for the info.
got George with Charles and Mary on census but on his 2nd marriage says his father is George and the only baptism record I can find is to an Edwin and Ann.
cannot find an Edwin and Ann anywhere.
any thoughts on this
