George Millar McNeil - What Happened To Him ?

Hi,

I'm trying to find my 2 x great uncle George Millar McNeil, b. 1 Nov 1861 in Paisley to George McNeil &
Mary Millar.

I found him in the Scottish 1881 census aged 20 yrs as a tailor, living at 5 Bridge St. with his parents
but he disappears after that.

Can anyone help ?

Have you checked Scotlands People for a marriage or death?

Hi Daryl,

Have you checked siblings marriages to see if he was a witness on any, always a possibility?

Hi Rosinish & Carole,

I have checked SP for any marriages & deaths but can't see any, I'm going into the genealogy centre tomorrow and will check his siblings marriages to see if he witnessed any of them.

Hi,

I checked both his siblings marriages & deaths for George, but couldn't find anything at all  ???.

I've been looking at immigration records in the hope of maybe finding him that way, but haven't found any hint of where he could of gone.
