If she married in 1855, her marriage cert will have her parents names and mothers maiden name as will her death cert

Hi

Just come across your post whilst having a browse through the forum...

I have an interest in Eliza Graham born in Middlebie in 1828. I believe she was the daughter of James Graham and Elizabeth Little. I know this lady appears to be a different Eliza(beth) Graham from the one you are interested in but it appears as if there were several girls of this name born in this area around the same time which has resulted in some confusion for me whilst researching my tree!

Just out of interest, who were the parents of 'your' Elizabeth and do you know what happened to her?

At the moment, I seem to have 'merged' two families together and I need to try and untangle them!

Regards

David

Ok, 1851 Census in Annan we have;
John Graham, 66
Isabella Graham, 58
George Graham, 5, Nephew
James Hamilton, 28
Elisabeth Hamilton, 20, Daug***
Margaret Hamilton, 2

This one looks to be to me;
ELIZABETH Graham christened 19 December 1830
Birth 29 Nov 1830
Parents;
John GRAHAM and Bell DAVIDSON

Hopefully nenepops has the info from Scotlandspeople and answers your question David :)

Trish :)

Hi Trish

Many thanks for this, I appreciate your help!

There seem to be quite a few 'Eliza Wilsons' which has caused me some confusion whilst trying to find mine!

I'll merge yours into the ones I already know about and see if it leads me to the right one!

Thanks again

David
