Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers Army Reserve
« on: Tuesday 21 March 17 12:22 GMT (UK) »
Helping another rootschatter have found a record for soldier who joined the above unit in 1910 and his record shows that he was recorded as a deserter on the 28 Jan 1915.  How would I find if he was returned/captured/sentenced?

Name:  Edward McGuigan
Born:  1893 Shankill, Antrim
Regimental No. 2506

It doesn't state on his disciplinary sheet that he was apprehended & there's nothing after 31/12/14.
The 4th. Batt. never went overseas so I imagine the army had better things to do than look for a missing SR.
