On funeral report of John William Dix, year died 1944 in Gloucester, two of the mourners was mrs Betteridge, and mrs Freeman, Nieces, i cannot make the connection of mrs Betteridge to John William Dix, or mrs Freeman can someone please help. Regards Terry

Don't take it literally.

You don't bother to indicate his age-at-death, so they could be nieces of his wife if he had one or his great-nieces.

Put up the siblings of JW dix and their marriages and their offspring .

Then do the same for the wife of JW dix

If Betteridge and Freeman were married - you have a job on your hands as you would need to establish their maiden names then link that maiden name to a Hill or Dix
