looking for information regarding my great grandfather George henry hodgson,
b: c1869 d: c 1931 in Canada I believe ?
his daughter Elizabeth was my grandmother b:1893 d:1959 in Carlisle,cumberland,england.
she married james Atkinson in September 1914 in silloth, Cumberland.

What kind of information are you looking for? There is a published tree by a similar name to yours with lots of information re censuses and Canada.
If it is not yours, it would be worth your checking it. It shows a Canadian family too.

There is a Canadian death in 1931 with wife Marion M Hodgson - parents Hodgson & Sinclair but that has his middle name as Nelson  :-\

but my George is deffinately George henry as on my grandmothers marriage cert.
