It doesn't look as if the George death date of 1931 in Canada was the correct one - the most likely death registration in the UK for George would be Wigton 1941 - as shown reply 22 and reply 24 - Betty Hodgson 1953 Wigton.  Both appear on the free 1939 index.

the death of George henry wigton 1941 seems to be my George henry according to what I know as fact.his daughter ( my grandmother was with john and Elizabeth wood in 1911 census )
will look further into death .. thanks to all for info ,
