Regarding the marriage of Joanna to Cyrus and the second wife in the census documents.   Could this be Johanna going by Anna or Annie?   I have another Johanna that I found as Anna in several documents.

Unable to find the census that shows the marriage date for Anna/Annie in 1890 but will keep searching

I'm quite certain the 1870 census is your Johanna.

Thanks for the image.  Now looking for clues from the witness names.

As mentioned, the baker and Montreal fit in 1834 as his brother was living in Montreal around that time.  Perhaps Thomas was in Montreal because brother William was there or William because Thomas was there.

I find a Thomas Clark in Stormont (Around Cornwall, Ontario) which is not too far from Montreal.  The 1851 census does not show a spouse and his occupation is difficult to read.  Perhaps someone can suggest what is shown

There is a second page to the census which indicates Thomas and Cathren are married (also indicated by the Xs next to their ages in the original image). They are apparently living in a log house with John Munro and all are apparently considered to be family.

The weaver occupation does not fit.  The possible Montreal marriage indicates Baker as occupation as do later census documents and his death record. It would seem this is a different family.

I have seen a few online trees that have him marrying in India but the marriage date does not fit the births of children and their birth locations.  Expect the India connection is incorrect

In case you don't have it, I believe I have found Thomas and son, William on the 1870 US census in St. Clair County, Michigan. Thomas' place of birth is out but the rest fits:
