When did she die? Elizabeth Gray
« on: Wednesday 22 March 17 15:22 GMT (UK) »
I have been trying to find a date for the death of Elizabeth Gray. She was born in Liverpool in 1899 to Robert Fraser and Elizabeth Fraser (nee Lightfoot). Her parents split up and her mother took her and her brother to Canada in the early 1900s (I think). She married Percy Gray in the early 1930s. I managed to find out that she made a couple of trips back to the U.K. but I cant find any more about her. I don't know if she had any children. Although her name was Elizabeth apparently she was known as 'Cissie'. I managed to find out  a bit about her brother William Robert Fraser but nothing more about Cissie. I don't know what happened to her mother either.
Many thanks
Cecile

Percival Gray is buried Notre Dames des Neiges Cemetery.  Buried 20/11/1987.  Wife Elizabeth Fraser is buried with him but her name is not coming up as a separate entry under Fraser.

The family are on the 1901 census where Elizabeth is aged 1. Her Father was married before to a Mary Ellen Hayes, and half siblings are on the 1901 census. Thomas Edward and Mary E who is 13 years old. Elizabeth's father Robert Peter Fraser is on an online tree as dying 4/6/1934 aged 78 years. You would need to check this out of course as it may not be correct.
regards.

Percy and Elizabeth were married June 17, 1930 in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Montreal.  He was the son of the late Charles F. Gray and Mary Walsh, and she was the daughter of the late Robert Fraser and Elizabeth Lightfoot.

Yes, thanks to you all, that is how I got the information, however, I couldn't find out if                 Elizabeth and Percy had children or when they died. I now know where they are buried, many thanks.
