George SLATER and Mary BUNTING

George Slater married Mary Bunting on 20 June 1830 at Duffield.  I am trying to find the parents of Mary.  She was born in Duffield in 1809 but no baptism seems to be around for her so I am hoping that the marriage may give more information - father or even witnesses may be helpful.  Any help would be very gratefully received.

I can find 2 Children Baptised Belper & Heage Chapel (Ind), Duffield
MARTHA Bunting 23 Dec 1806 (birth 10 Dec 1806)
JOSEPH Bunting 5 Dec 1812 (birth 15 Jan 1812)
Parents JOHN/MARY
Abode for Family is Duffield on Martha and Belper on Josephs Baptism.

There is a Marriage same Church for John BUNTING to Mary WALKER 24 Oct 1802, St Alkmund, Duffield.

In Belper Union Workhouse in 1851 we have;
Mary Bunting, 66, Widow, General Servant , born Wirksworth,
Joseph Buntin, 40, Mar, Stockinger ?, born Belper
May be worth noting for the future.

Thanks trish1120 for the information.  I can see the marriage on the Familysearch website but cannot access the marriage entry as you have to get to a family history centre etc.  Annoying!

Familysearch shows:

Mary Bunting bp.2/3/1806 Duffield, dau. of William and Hannah.

A number of children baptised to them at Duffield, indeed, the only Bunting baptisms in this time frame are the children of William and Hannah.

I would suggest that this is your Mary's baptism so just 2/3 years older than indicated.

Her age seems to fluctuate a little but on 1841 census she is shown bc.1806 and on her last census in 1881 it is bc.1805 which would fit the above baptism.

William Bunting married Hannah Radford 9/4/1798 Duffield, Derbyshire.
