Mary Elizabeth Evans (b.1820)
« on: Tuesday 27 July 04 19:55 BST (UK) »
Hi.  I'm looking for the family of a Mary Elizabeth Evans, who was born around 1820 in Carmarthen.  She married William Hamley Kellaway on 2 August 1841 in Bristol.  From her marriage certificate, I know that her father's name was Samuel and he was a farrier.

Any help with tracing this family or ideas on where to start looking would be appreciated.  Thanks!  :)

Hi Kiya,

if you visit this site:
http://www.historicaldirectories.org/

you should be able to search for Samuel Evans and/or farriers in Carmarthen. He should be listed in Pigots or a similar directory.

Hope you have better luck than me tracing my Evans in Carms.
