Arthur James Elliott and Adelaide Philpott

Hello,

My grandfather and grandmother, Arthur James Elliott and Adelaide Philpott were born in Kent...my grandfather in 1890.  I am trying to do my family tree and thus far I have found (I think) my great grandparents info.  Arthur Elliott, married Emily Sophia Alder.

My great great grandparents...William Elliott, married Mary Ann Tully in 1865 in Dartford.  Am I on the correct path?  I am quite new to genealogy and am really trying to do my family search.

Arthur & Adelaide married in 1912 - do you have a copy of the marriage cert confirming his fathers name was also Arthur or any other documentation to support it

Are you absolutely certain he was born in Kent as there is another Arthur James Elliott birth in 1890 in Paddington

If yes - then GRO online search shows his mothers maiden name was Allder (double L)

You can find the marriage on the Medway Cityark site.  Another free site, and the marriage took place at St George's Church, Gravesend.
