Bradford Little Horton Green -old maps
« on: Monday 27 March 17 13:45 BST (UK) »
Hi Late last year I was able to visit Bradford - the hometown of families in my research and for the first time wander around the streets Little Horton Green where they had lived. I know I am so lucky that this place has been preserved - it is very atmospheric. However the people i am researching lived at number 1 Little Horton Green and that house is no longer there. I was also able to visit the records office where they have some terrific old maps which show Bradford in such detail that the buildings can be seen but the map section I needed was missing on that day!! I am now wondering if it has turned up and if anyone were visiting, could they have look to see where number 1 was located?
This is the family on the 1851 census
Household schedule number:   113
Piece:   2309
Folio:   515
Page Number:   29
thank you

Hello
I'm not in the area but here's a larger scale map for 1847-1850

It's possible to see each individual house when you zoom in but there are no house numbers.
