Edward Batchellor of Tellisford
« on: Tuesday 28 March 17 10:40 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find out what happened to Edward Batchellor.
Christened; 1/6/1727, Tellisford.
Declared bankrupt; 7/11/1759, still resident at Tellisford. Discharged from bankruptcy in 1761, after that the trail goes cold.
No marriage, offspring or burial can be traced.

Hi Andrew,

Edward BATCHELOR married Mary STALLARD @ St Peter & St Paul at Shepton Mallot on the 29th February 1756. after Banns had been proclaimed.   Must have been a leap year eh!
Witnesses were Ralph WHYTING and John BYRT
Both listed as of this Parish.

Cheers
Geoff

Thank you for your suggestion. I'll check it out, but he could be a namesake as otherwise there seems to be no connection of the family with this parish.
