Andrew Holmes Birth ABOUT 1790 • County Cavan, Ireland

I am searching for info on my 2nd great grandfather and his spouse

Family info and other records indicate he was born about 1790 in County Cavan, Ireland.  I have no info on parents.

He died either onboard ship or near arrival in Canada  June 18, 1845 and is buried at Grosse-Ile, Les Ξles-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec, Canada.  There is a memorial there with his name and the many others who died during crossing or on arrival.

He was married to a Susan or Susannah who was born about 1791 in County Cavan, Ireland .  She passed in Moore Township, Ontario, Canada 22 Sep 1865

The had the following children all listed as born in County Cavan.

I have a fair bit of detail after the arrival of the family (the came in several groups) but have hit a wall around the family in Ireland

Did you forget you already have a post from Oct.2016 about Andrew Holmes? The dates are well before civil registration, surviving census and many church records which may be why there were no replies.
