As per Freebmd  there is no registration in September quarter for an Emma Reynolds, only March Quarter, are you sure you wrote in down correctly.

Yes, I have checked my records.

I originally found the baptism for Amy March 1838. No registration for her, nor in 1837.

I then found the registration for Emma September quarter 1838 but there was no baptism.

Now Emma's registration is in March and the September one is no longer there.

At least I now know there was only one child.
