Looking for Mary Ann's maiden name

Mary Ann was born in about 1819 in Darlington. She married a Thomas Swales of Bedale, Yorkshire. 11 children born from 1839 to 59. Presume she married about 1838. Sorry I have such limited info.Thomas was a collector for the local board of health.
