Thomas NICHOLSON - ADEL, Yorkshire

Thomas Nicholson was born around 1575 to 1595. He was probably born in Adel.
His children were: Robert, Christopher, Elizabeth, Ann(a), Richard, Susan(a)
The eldest child - Robert was born in 1616.
Unfortunately I can not find a record of the birth of Thomas. Similarly I can not find a record of his marriage or the name of his wife.
The one fact I have been able to confirm is the date of his death - he was buried at St John The Baptist Church, Adel, 28 June 1640.
If anyone can help me fill in the missing information I will be most grateful.

          b. 1625, Adel
          d. Feb 1669/70, Bramhope, Otley  (Age 45 years)

Could be an awkward find though for Thomas, earliest recorded history is 1606 by the Thoresby Society.

Thanks for confirming the dates.
I know the chances of finding a record for Thomas are not good, but perhaps one day Find My Past or Ancestry may digitise the right record!
You never know your luck.
Do you think I might have a better chance finding a record of his marriage?
His eldest sone, Robert, was born in 1616, so I am assuming that Thomas married 1612 to 1616.
