Thanks for that Jane. I hadnt found the 1851 Census for Henry.

Its strange as Sarahs Christening is the only one I can find for Henry/Martha.

The Marriage West found looks like possible Parents for Henry.

The only Marriage I can find is in Sussex which is a long shot;
29 Sep 1805, Stanmer, Sussex
Henry TAYLOR, Widower, to Martha BEECHING, Widow
(Familysearch.Org)
Not close to Wiltshire or Berkshire though.

Hopefully someone else can help you :)

That is also a good possible West.

But there must be other  Children then before 1806.

Hello West and Trish,

I think Henry Taylor who married Martha Picket in Lyneham is the right one , But why did he come to Warfield Berkshire?

Hello it’s me again,

I wondering if the marriage  1805 in Stanmer,Sussex between Henry Taylor , widower and Martha Beeching, widow is the right one and not Henry Taylor and Martha Picket who married 1784 Wroughton Wiltshire. Maybe it was Henry’s first marriage and his wife died in Wiltshire?

Is there a death for a Martha Taylor in Wroughton or Lyneham Wiltshire between 1792-1805?

I thought Martha Picket is the right one but I think I found Martha’s death July 1837 Easthampstead Berkshire (area were Henry Taylor and family lived) age 63 so born about 1774 not 1763.

a John Beeching married a Martha Apps 1798 in Crowhurst,Sussex and maybe was the one who died 1801 in Rye?  ??? Found No baptism for Martha Apps
