Isabella Clark Birth 6 MAY 1832 Petty,Inverness,Scotland

Looking for any info on Isabella Clark after 1851.

She is daughter of

Donald Clark 1785–1853 Donald was schoolmaster at Petty until his death
 
Jane Campbell 1789–1869

We see Isabella at the schoolhouse in 1841 and 1851but no sign in 1861 but assume they had to leave schoolhouse after father passed. 

We know  at least three older siblings came to Canada but no luck in documents in Canada so far.  We find a marriage in 1861 Canada with the correct father's name and birth year but mother as Lilly.  The area of the marriage has a large number of Clark families from Scotland  but none seem an exact fit to any of her siblings

to confirm if either off these are your Isabella you would need to see the marriage certificate which hopefully would confirm her fathers name !

Looked at death and thought wrong people but then thought did they use husbands name rather than fathers due to some confusion.

I then found the link to the anniversary notice!  Success! Her father was schoolmaster in Petty for over 54 years!  This is indeed our Isabella

I've lost count of the number of times I've seen some version of the husband's/wife's name as a parent's name on a death registration. Always worth exploring, even if they only seem vaguely right - at best, deaths will be registered by children or grand-children, who may never have known their grandparents or great-grandparents - at worst, the registrants may be in-laws or neighbours, who are even less likely to know for sure

Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions.  The result is I have found a significant number of details of her life.

 I have not found her arrival in Canada as yet but she married 17 Mar 1859 in Woodstock, Ontario.  We believe there were seven children and now the search begins for them.

The clue for the death lead me to a marriage and several children of Isabella Clark and William Knowles Stewart.

My great great great grandmother was Isabella Clark 1832-1892. I don't have specifics about her location other than she lived in northern england in her married life.
