Liverpool Maritime Museum Lookup please.

I am trying to find any information about my Great Grandfather, Captain James Lee. (17.01.1869 - 20.04.1947)
I know he worked for Messers David MacIver and company from 1892 until he retired in He was awarded the DSC for sinking a submarine when his ship was attacked. To be honest anything would be fabby.

Can you clarify - is it just his service history etc you want or are you researching his parental ancestry?

Just saves lots of BMD/Census info being posted that you may already have
