Family in 1901
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Galway/Killaan/Cloonncallis/1367994/
Not sure why the census is Cloonncallis and the birth and death are Newtown ???

Checking the map there is a place called Newtown in the townland of Clooncallis so maybe that is where they lived.

Back to the 1911 Census, because Mary is a widow she hasn't filled in how many years married or how many children she had.
On the 1901 Census Mary Ann is her eldest.
She was born 1884
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1884/02687/1989520.pdf
so Mary and Patrick married before this date.

There is a marriage of a Patrick Dunn
and a Mary Brien also a Mary Bryan (possible the same person with two different spellings)
in 1880 registered in Ballinasloe
all three have the same vol and page number but the images of these records are not online yet
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01jv2/

If this is the correct marriage there may be more children before Mary Ann.

as the image is not online it may be possible to find it in the church records.

That all sounds likely and fits in as my maternal grandmother Catherine Dunne was born around 1896
Thanks

Looks like they had earlier children
Honoria 1880

Registered by Catherine Brien, Mary's mother living with the family in 1901 census.
I was hopeing to find her baptism in New Inn parish
http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0327
no luck so far and I need a break.
The hope would be that the parents married in the same parish but could be in one of the surrounding parishes if Mary was from a different parish to Patrick.
