Hi my grandfather was Richard Dunne who was Catherine's brother. Just the other night my mother told me Catherine became Mrs Hawkins. She also mentioned their sister Mary went to the USA and never married. There are still plenty of Dunne's in Ireland and still living at Newtown. I was there last year. Catherine had lots of siblings. This is what I know so far: Honoria born 1880, Sarah born 1881 who I believe my sister and aunt are named after, Kate born 1882 and died 1892, Mary Anne born 1884 who went to USA and never married,  Edward born 1885 who I believe went to  USA, Bridget born 1886, Eliza born 1889 who went to USA and married John Liddle Dickson and had 3 boys, Richard (my grandfather) born 1891 and died 1966, Kate Teresa born 1894 who I believe is your grandparent, Lucy 1899 died 1977 in Carshalton, never married and stayed with us for a few months before her death and Patrick born 1902 emigrated to USA, had 3 boys, 2 I think are still alive. He died in 1980

Hi Maria moneypenny, it very interesting what you've written, in not sure how to reply I think I've sent you a message on face book or I'll see if you get this but I think your mother and mine were cousins, my mum was borne in 1926 if that helps, my cousin still lives in the farm and his siblings live close by, one of my cousins lives in Athlone and her mother was raised with the Dunnes and I have a photo of her with what would be my great grandmother Dunne and a couple of others who we are not sure who they are
