Thanks for that one CaroleW that's a great possibility that its he that sailed to cape town, i'll see if I can trace an overseas death possibly south Africa, we now know that thursa was a widow 1911 census and remarried 1912. cannot as yet find a death for him here in uk.

Thanks suzard I had elsies date of birth and have had a look through ancestry trees.
 
PS, George Henry Glover was the brother of my g.g grandfather

Reply 7 refers.  Before you start an overseas search you need to rule out the 1894 death by obtaining the death certificate.

Burial records usually just give name/age/address and rarely show family details so you need the death cert which will (hopefully) show his occupation and may possibly show his wife's name
