Elizabeth Quinn birth
« on: Monday 03 April 17 19:51 BST (UK) »
Seeking the birth details of Elizabeth Quinn, who married James O’Neill in Ardboe parish, Co Tyrone, on 30 September 1920. Elizabeth stated that she was a minor (under 21), and that her father was Patrick Quinn, a labourer. It is not known exactly when she was born, nor where. Elizabeth died 18 October 1932 aged 29 years.
So far, searches for her birth in Co Tyrone have proved negative.
I wish to know if anyone has information concerning an Elizabeth Quinn, probably born between 1900 and 1905, whose father was Patrick Quinn, a labourer.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

...and I went to the Parish that they were married in Mullanahoe (?) and looked at the 1911 Census

There is a Patrick Quinn marries a Jane Devlin - in the same Parish church - 18 May 1897.(His father Joseph, hers - Henry Devlin).

Mary Elizabeth Quinn is born 3 Nov 1898, and baptized 29 Nov 1898.

There is also a Mary Elizabeth Quinn born 15 June 1899 to a Patrick Quinn and Jane McIvor in Fintona.

I took copies so I can send them...

Thank you again for your replies. I'm familiar with the Ardboe records, I guess what I'm really hoping for is someone coming through with family or anecdotal information in regard to Elizabeth.
