Mary Finn, Cork

Hello to everyone here, I am wondering if I can get some information on a woman named Mary Finn? I'm not entirely sure if she was from Cork I am only going off what my grandfather has told me, she married a man named Houghton, I don't know his forename, he was either irish or Scottish and they moved to England. The only information I have is my grandfathers year of birth and name, 1937 and Terence Houghton. Thankyou in advance.

I can't see a marriage in Ireland. You can have a look here, but Northern Ireland won't be there after 1922

I also had a look on FreeBMD, didn't see it there either but I do see Terence's birth 1937 Brentford vol 3a Page 469

You could get his birth cert from the GRO in the UK.

Hello there thankyou for the welcome and the information provided. Ahh I see, he really didn't give me much information to go on when he was alive, I don't even know his fathers name, if I order a certificate will both his parents be listed on there?

Should have both parents and father's occupation, I've never needed an English cert but the sort of information is fairly standard. There must be a thread here about it somewhere here I'll have a look.
