Current turnaround time for research certs?

Does anyone have any idea what the current turnaround time for faxed orders for research copy certs from the GRO is?

Ordered 3 - two deaths and a birth - by fax on 20th March, still not received.

Birth is too recent to view online (1945) and deaths too early to see the register entries online. hence the need for certs

I can't get through on the phone, it just rings and rings.

Hi Lisa,

I have recently ordered a birth cert and it was received by post in ten days, which was the time period given,perhaps an email to them if you cant seem to get through by phone may be an option at this stage.

If your expecting it by email, have you checked your spam folder?

Nothing in spam folder - have been keeping an eye on it just in case.

Sent an email earlier this afternoon - no reply so far

Finally managed to speak to someone - just gone through for card to be charged, they say, then I should receive them.
