It looks like Evan Lloyd married in Liverpool - FreeBMD has a marriage in the J,A,S qtr of 1891 between Evan Lloyd and Mary Jane Anders (and two others) - W. Derby 8b 1023.

They registered the births of two sons in Anglesey:
Evan John, son of Evan Lloyd and Mary Jane Anders, 4 Sep 1892, Llangristiolus
Richard, son of Evan Lloyd and Mary Jane Anders, 22 Aug 1894, Llangristiolus
I can't see a birth for Thomas in Anglesey.

Several Lloyd deaths at Gromlech and Graigwen, Llangristiolus were registered as transcribed below:

John Lloyd 3 May 1860, age 90, at Gromlech, farmer. Informant Gabriel Lloyd.
Ann Lloyd 16 Jan 1859, age 83, at Gromlech, wife of farmer John Lloyd. Informant Thomas John Jones, surgeon.
Gabriel Lloyd 23 Jan 1897, age 86, at Graigwen, architect. Informant R. Lloyd, nephew.
Margaret Lloyd 17 Dec 1840, age 5 months, at Gromlech, dau. of John Lloyd. Informant John Lloyd, father.
Elizabeth Lloyd 9 Feb 1856, age 11 months, at Graigwen, dau. of carpenter John Lloyd. Informant Thomas Lloyd.
Elizabeth Lloyd 24 May 1893, age 73, at Graigwen, wife of joiner John Lloyd. Informant R. Lloyd, son.
John Lloyd 7 July 1905, age 92, at Graigwen, joiner. Informant Owen Hughes, son in law.

So John and Mary married in Liverpool before Evan John, their first son arrived after they were back in Anglesey? I wonder what Evan where he met her if she was from W.Derby? Then they moved back to Liverpool before having Thomas. Maybe Mary was living there when he met her, thats why they went back there?   ooooh thanks for your help with all this, you've been amazing!!

Just to clarify - W.Derby/West Derby is a registration district in Liverpool, Lancashire and has nothing to do with Derby, Derbyshire. There is information about it here:

Each marriage reference like September, W. Derby 8b 103 usually refers to two marriages/four people (sometimes more) - in this case Mary Jane Anders, Sarah Fagan, Evan Lloyd, Samuel Quinn - but the birth registration with mother's maiden name Anders show that she married Evan Lloyd.

I'm struggling to get any more info on John Lloyd b1770 in trefdraeth / d1860, Llangristiolus

It is difficult to be certain but a search of baptisms at Trefdraeth (FindmyPast) suggest that John may have been the son of Evan Lloyd & Mary his wife and had the siblings shown.

27 Sep 1769 - John son of Evan & Mary Lloyd was baptized.
16 May 1762 - Jane the daughter of Evan Lloyd of Tyddyn falent(?), Yeoman, and Mary his wife was baptized.
16 Jun 1765 - Gabriel son of Evan  Lloyd of Tyddyn falent(?), Yeoman, and Mary his wife was baptized.
26 Feb 1775 - Hannah daughter of Evan Lloyd of Tyddyn Fralant(?) and Mary his wife was baptized.

Gabriel was not a common name in Anglesey at this time but seems to occur several times in this family.

Hi Tracy I think we might be cousins .of a sort .! My Grandad was Evan John Lloyd b 1892 to Evan Lloyd and Mary Jane Anders. Evan (b 1863 )was also my Great Grandad  I believe.
