baptism of Elizabeth Newington abt 1641

Elizabeth Newington a daughter of John Newington and Elizabeth Chele of Salehurst is said to have been born/baptised abt 1641.

The Weald http://theweald.org/N10.asp?NId=5111164 have Elizabeth as being born b: 1641 Salehurst, Sussex and d: 10th Sep 1668.  However she was buried 13 Sept 1667.

All assistance will be much appreciated.

Had a quick look found John and Elizabeth marriage.

Does'nt seem right because of the dates but it was on FamilySearch so they could be wrong.

Hi SR,

There were a few John Newington's around the same time but in different Parishes.

It seems SFHG has only a few baptisms [and burials] for Newington for Salehurst so perhaps some records are missing?

Salehurst and Southwick are miles apart so shouldn't think it was the same family.
